The protected marine area of Punta Campanella, in the Sorrento and Amalfi peninsula, thanks to Project mare Erasmus, a group of foreign students has cleaned up the Crapolla Fjord, in Massa Lubrense. Due to the strong storms, plastic, polystyrene, shoes, glass, jars and so on had accumulated on the shoreline. The students are two Tunisians, two Latvians, a Portuguese, a Spanish, a French and a Croatian. The beach is on the side of the Amalfi coast and can only be reached by sea or through a path that insists on the edge of a small waterfall that reaches the sea. Students will remain in the marine area until April 6. Many activities are carried out coordinated by the Amp: supervision and monitoring in the Bay of Ieranto aboard canoes, environmental education projects in schools with the Cea (Environmental Education Center) Punta Campanella, the Pro Loco of Massa and the Port Authority, they provide information on the rules of the park to boaters and tourists. At the same time the students study the Italian language and culture, as well as practice kayaking and snorkeling observing the beauty of the seabed of Punta Campanella.
